Ukraine's deputies may re-vote the Cabinet law

Secretariat of the President considers today’s statement of PM Yanukovych (on readiness to compromise as regards Cabinet law) as consent to revise the law and re-vote it in the parliament. President’s press secretary Iryna Vannykova told Tuesday at a briefing.

“Victor Yanukovych made a statement concerning readiness to compromise on the Cabinet law. Obviously, it means that voting procedure must be held again from the very beginning,” Vannykova said.

According to her, President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko always welcomes observance of Constitution norms by all branches of the power.

The press secretary also informed that the press office of the President has prepared explanatory note and proofs of that President’s position as regards the Cabinet law can be proved by documents. The document represents in chronological order circulation of documents among the parliament, the Cabinet and President’s Secretariat.
