Monday, January 22, Foreign Ministers of the EU
countries plan to approve a warrant of the European Commission on new intensified
agreement on EU-Ukraine cooperation.
The draft bill notes that the EU aims at creating new
climate of economic relations with Ukraine, Korrespondent reports.
The matter concerns cancellation of duties for goods import
and export, lifting a restriction on investment activity, propagation of EU
standards as regards antimonopoly legislation and foodstuff.
The European Union also wants to implement in Ukraine European
standards of industrial production and intellectual property right.
Great Britain, Hungary, Poland and Sweden demands
Brussels to recognize officially European aspiration of Ukraine. Germany maintains
neutrality.
At the same time, some other countries including
France and Spain resist such initiative. These states note that relations with
Kyiv must develop within neighbouring policy only, and they must be separated
from the policy of expansion.
