NATO Partnership for Peace Trust Fund project intensifies Ukraine-NATO cooperation

Realization of a project of the NATO Partnership for Peace Trust Fund of utilization of excess shooting weapons and light armaments is a bright practical example of fruitful cooperation between Ukraine and the North Atlantic Alliance, United States Ambassador to Ukraine William Taylor said during a ceremony to inaugurate the practical phase of utilization in Kamyanets-Podilsky, Cabinet press office reported.

As Head of the NATO Liaison Office in Ukraine James Greene said, creating a center of utilization of excess armaments in Kamyanets-Podilsky was an example of fighting real threats to the security of the international community. According to him, the financial support under the NATO Partnership for Peace Trust Fund will help Ukraine to save resources, which can be used for other national priority targets.
