Prime Minister of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych declares
that Borys Tarasyuk did not inform the head of the government about his
official visit to Czech Republic. Yanukovych told Monday at a press conference.
“Tarasyuk’s actions are incomprehensible from the point
of regulations and ethics, because he did not even draw up documents and I was
not informed about his visit,” The Premier said.
According to the PM, “visits of the minister with uncertain
status harm the state.” “My attitude is very negative and I an sure the
Verkhovna Rada will settle this issue after its holidays,” he added.
The Prime Minister reminded that the government appealed
to the VR and the President of Ukraine with a request to nominate new Foreign Minister.
“We haven’t received any answer yet, but we still have the decision of the Verkhovna
Rada, and nobody has cancelled it,” Yanukovych noted.
At the same time the head of the government did not
exclude that “if Tarasyuk adhered to humane principles he could find his place
as a specialist and hold other post.”
