Yushchenko is not satisfied with bill on Cabinet


The deputy head of the Secretariat of the President Arseny Yatsenyuk informed about main position, concerning the bill of Ukraine on the Cabinet, of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko. The ForUm’s correspondent reports.

According to Yatsenyuk, Yushchenko considers the bill on the Cabinet, worked out by the Government, violates 11 norm of the Constitution of Ukraine. He noted that first of all the matter concerns the terms in which Yushchenko should submit a candidature on the post of the Prime Minister of Ukraine to the Parliament. In case the Head of the State does not submit a candidature on the post in determined terms, it can do another person. It also concerns submitting and dismissal the Defense and Foreign Ministers.

Yatsenyuk also noted that the bill on the Cabinet violates the Constitution on stop of validity of Cabinet’s acts by the President.

According to Yatsenyuk, in the scope of the recent meeting among the President, the speaker and the PM, decision on revision of the bill on the Cabinet.

He said that President’s amendments on the bill were received in the Parliament yesterday. The Secretariat got to know only at 10 a.m. today that the bill would be considered today. The documents on these questions were handed out the people’s deputies only before the voting.
