Yekhanurov comments on privatization law


The people’s deputy of Ukraine, a member of “Our Ukraine” Yury Yekhanurov considers today’s voting of the deputies for bill of Ukraine “On objects list of state property right, being subject to privatization in 2007” with President’s amendments reasonable. He told journalists, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.

“It is a real example of cooperation… If we do not think how to put a spoke in each other wheel, but to think about the country, it will be better,” he said.

He noted that number of privatization objects has increased now. “It allows the State Property Fund to fulfill privatization plan, charged for this year,” Yekhanurov added.

Answering the journalists’ question when privatization of “Ukrtelecom” and “Odessa port plant” is possible, he noted: “Significant preparation is needed. It is early to speak about it. Maybe it will be by the end of the current year, not early.”
