Azarov: Ukraine's government passed no decisions as regards gas supplies in view of conflict between Russia and Belarus

The Ukrainian Government passed no decisions on changing volumes of pumping Russian gas via Ukraine in view of the conflict between the Russian Federation and Belarus, First Vice Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said in an interview to news agencies.

"The issue has not been tackled at the level of the government. If somebody utters statements, it is his/her personal opinion," he said, Cabinet press officereported.

As is known, on Thursday Fuel and Energy Minister Boyko stated that if there are any problems with Russian gas transit via Belarus to Europe, Ukraine can step up pumping Russian gas and, thus, compensate the shortage.
