Vice Prime Minister to launch study of history of Ukrainian regions in schools


Humanitarian vice Prime Minister Dmytro Tabachnyk is initiating launch of an in-depth studying of history of region of Ukraine, “Cabinet press office” reported.

European educational institutions see studying local history of the countries. We can initiate a similar program with the Education and Science Ministry, Dmytro Tabachnyk noted.

Meanwhile Dmytro Tabachnyk advocated obligatory tours across historical places of Ukraine.

Notably, the VR has resolved to hold on January 9, 2007 Day of Government and to consider state and prospects of development of education in Ukraine.
