Ukraine to build hydroelectric power stations in Vietnam and Chile


The state foreign economic enterprise UkrInterEnergo is negotiating on reconstruction and building a hydroelectric power station of general capacity of 120 MWt in Chile, Cabinet press office reported.

As UkrInterEnergo President Mykola Pashkevych said at a press conference in Kyiv Wednesday, in 2006 the company updated a hydroelectric power station in Vietnam to the tune of over 50 M. USD.

UkrInterEnergo is an operator of supplying Ukrainian power to Hungary, Slovakia, Poland. Since 2002 it exports Ukrainian power and fulfills transit of Russian power on parity conditions to Moldova.
