Ukraine to promote its aviation image

Ukraine plans spending 350 million UAH for acquisition of planes, domestically produced included, for the state air companies.

It will back domestic producers, increase safety of air shipping and benefit Ukraine’s image as a reliable carrier, the Finance Ministry press office reports.

Moreover, the first time in Ukraine’s history, the state will participate in development of the air shipping infrastructure and allot 140 million UAH for a complex reconstruction, extension and technical re-equipment of Donetsk International Airport, a communal enterprise.

The project is aimed to provide the airport with modern planes, safety and new jobs.
