UEFA on Poland-Ukraine bid for Euro-2012


Having held observing visit in September, UEFA appreciated deeply level of preparation conducted by Ukraine and Poland in their joint bid for Euro-2012.

UEFA stated in its report that the conditions and state of the training centres, hotels which may be included in the official hotels’ list, Ukraine’s Football Federation reports.

In order to avoid the problems existed during the Euro-2006, UEFA protocol makes demands of host associations concerning the new tendencies of entertainment. The agreements with the cities will be added by extra items regulating fan management, security and order, protection of the marketing rights.

The countries applying for the Euro-2012 must work out and submit to UEFA a conception of fans’ transportation (for every city) and host airports’ development plans.

The candidates’ complete register of the documents must be submitted to the Union of the European Football Association by February 15, 2007. The winners will be called on April 17-18, 2007.
