The U.S. military diplomats visit Crimea


September 26, the U.S. military delegation has launched a mission in Crimea in accordance with the US-Ukraine Military Contacts Program. The delegation consists of US Embassy naval attaché Capt 2nd Class Steve Dorff and marine attaché Lieutenant Colonel Jonathan Sacker. The US officials are to work in Ukrainian Naval units and sub-units.

The main target of the mission is to acquaint Ukrainian colleagues with functions and duties of the professional sergeant staff regarding the military education and the professional training of recruits.

The US military officials plan to visit Ukrainian Naval Training Centre, HQ Coastal Defence and Ukrainian Fleet Marines Battalion.

In the course of the visit, the US and Ukrainian military officials will address the issues related to the sergeant service functions and cooperation between sergeant and officer staff.

The visit will last until September 29.
