Ukraine’s President met with leaders of Crimean Tatars


Today President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko has held a meeting with leaders of Crimean Tatars. The meeting took place in the official residence of the President in Foros.

Yushchenko told journalists that the parties discussed all issues concerning the Crimean Tatars people and its place on the peninsula.

According to Yushchenko, the goal of the meeting is “to see Crimean Tatars factor as a factor of stabilization of Crimea.”

The President also noted that provocations conducted in the recent past were advantageous for those people, who do not want to see Crimea calm and stable.
