Yushchenko goes to Germany to support national team

President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko is flying to Germany Friday to watch the match of Ukraine’s national team with Italian team in the quarte0final of the World football championship, as President’s press secretary Iryna Gerashchenko told journalists.

“Today the President is going to Germany with a blitz-working visit for several hours,” said she.

Gerashchenko informed that the President invited two twelve-year-old boys from the school of Olympic reserve and added that, in coaches’ opinion, these boys are very promising and will play for Ukraine’s national team in the future.
