President meets coalition leaders

Victor Yushchenko has met with Yulia Tymoshenko (BYuT), Roman Bezsmertny (Our Ukraine) and Oleksandr Moroz (Socialist Party of Ukraine) to discuss the current parliamentary crisis, President's press office reported.

The President is upset to see the opposition block the Verkhovna Rada and believes there are no reasons for such protests.

He reiterated that all the political leaders should negotiate and find compromises enabling them to settle the crisis. He urged them to be responsible and immediately resolve the destabilizing problems.

The Head of State insisted that it was important to appoint speaker and hold a swearing-in ceremony of judges of the constitutional court.
