Onopenko: All-Ukrainian Referendum to decide Ukraine's accession to NATO

According to the BYuT-SPU draft coalition agreement, All-Ukrainian Referendum must decide on Ukraine’s accession to NATO. It was revealed by BYuT representative Vasyl Onopenko, ex-Head of the VR Committee on Legal Policy on Sunday.

Having discussed the home and foreign policy of the coalition activity at the regular session, the BYuT-SPU working group reached compromise on perspective Ukraine’s accession to NATO and included this norm in the coalition agreement.

Responding the question on possible alternative to Tymoshenko’s premiership, Onopenko emphasised: “If Tymoshenko is not a Prime Minister, there will be no coalition at all.”
