NSDCU Secretary backs the urgent formation of the coalition

The Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine Anatoly Kinakh declares for the urgent formation of the coalition for the new parliament not to delay with the legislative activity.

“We need to settle the questions of democratic coalition creation and then to form professional and capable coalition-cabinet as quickly as possible,” stressed Kinakh.

To his mind, it is inadmissible to aggravate the situation after the parliamentary election, “we have no spare time to heighten the confrontation.”

The parliament must aim its activity at the adoption of the statutes which will contribute to the effectiveness of the government in Ukraine, Kinakh noted.

The laws of the first priority are following: On the Cabinet of Ukraine; On the President of Ukraine (new edition); On the Opposition and the series of the statutes regulating the local authorities’ functions.

Kinakh stressed the Constitutional Court of Ukraine must launch functioning in order “to prevent the legal nihilism within the country.”
