Great Britain welcomes honest elections in Ukraine


In his letter to the President of Ukraine British Prime Minister Tony Blair welcomes the first honest and democratic elections in Ukraine.

“It is an important step towards democracy in Ukraine and Europe. It is a clear signal that orange revolution keeps its promises,” President’s press office cited the letter.

British PM added that free election in Ukraine witnesses that the Ukrainian power follows the chosen course.
