Oleh Rybachuk, the Head of President Secretariat, and Mr. Ian Pearson British Minister of Trade discussed bilateral relations of their countries.
Rybachuk stressed Ukraine and the Great Britain reached the new level of the bilateral relations. British PM Tony Blair is expected to visit Ukraine in 2006. The invitation was delivered to him during the EU-Ukraine summit, December, 1 2005.
The parties focused on the economic cooperation between two countries. The Great Britain is the most import European partner in trade sphere. “Ukrainian power does everything depending on in order British capital to come in Ukraine,” said the Head of the President Secretariat. The UK takes the fifth place regarding the investment volume in Ukrainian economy.
Mr. Pearson, in turns, stressed the importance to intensify the bilateral dialogue between the EU and Ukraine. The British PM confirmed the UK backs European integration of Ukraine.
As a reminder, Ian Pearson the UK Minister of Trade visited Ukraine on the instruction of PM Blair. The target of the visit is to back the economic and business relations between two countries.
