President of Ukraine commiserates to Russians

Victor Yushchenko offered sympathy to Russian President Vladimir Putin over today’s roof collapse in Moscow.

“We were sad to learn about the tragic collapse of the roof at Basmanny market in Moscow, leaving dozens of people dead and injured,” Yushchenko wrote to his Russian counterpart. “We are condoling with the people of the Russian Federation.”

“On behalf of the Ukrainian nation, I would like to present our heart felt condolences to all Russians and wish those injured fast recovery,” he said.
