President Yushchenko thanks Ukrainians for birthday greetings

President Victor Yushchenko thanked Ukrainians for birthday greetings and wishes they had sent to him, the President pres office informed.

“Your sincere words support and inspire me. Your support is the best birthday present,” he said.

The Head of State is going to mark his birthday with the family at Huta residence in Ivano-Frankivsk oblast. His children presented their father with paintings and handmade souvenirs. The President was also given a 1777 book with a collection of Orthodox prayers. Yushchenko then went skiing. He believes the best way to mark birthday is to spend it with relatives.
