Ukraine signs documents needed for the WTO membership


Ukraine signs the protocol on mutual market access with Honduras and Dominican Republic, Economy Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk told.

“We have signed one protocol for both these countries because they are in the custom union,” said the Minister.

As a reminder, the bilateral negotiations with the countries – members of the Working Group on Consideration of Ukraine’s application for the WTO membership were launched in 1997. Ukraine has signed 40 bilateral protocols on mutual market access. The consultations with the USA, Australia and other countries are underway.
