The Agrarian Ministry Aleksey Gordeyev pledged to promote the meat settlement.
“Agrarian Ministry has received the delegation of Verkhovna Rada at the request of Yedinaya Rossiya (the Common Russia) political party which consisted of the Party of Regions representatives. We have considered the problem of meat export form Ukraine. I have taken the request into account and promise to intensify problem settlement and restore the export supply from Ukraine to Russia,” said Gordeyev after the meeting.
The Minister noted, “Ukrainian agriculture suffers from the ban.” “The unfair market agents and those who engage in re-export are guilty of the existing problem. The veterinary services of Ukraine are responsible for their omission to act,” stressed Gordeyev.
He pledged to charge Rosselkhoznadzor with the meat settlement.
“We think it is necessary to do all our best in order to make Ukrainian authorities to interfere in the situation. African and Indonesian meat of bad quality is exported to Ukraine and then re-exported to Russia as original Ukrainian meat,” explained Volodin the member of Yedinaya Rossiya.
According to him, honest Ukrainian producers are loosing everyday huge sum of money: the milk price have decreased from 1.4 UAH to 0.6 UAH.
