Ukraine hosts US military delegations

The visit of the US military men is held within the framework of the Ukrainian-US Military Contacts Program-2006.

The Air Force Attaché Assistant Major Theodore Larsen heads the US delegation. It consists of the representatives of operative and tactic departments of a transport squadron and the Defence Cooperation Department of the US Embassy.

The US military men will attend the Ukrainian Armed Forces air transport brigade, which is located in Melitopol town, Zaporizhzhye.

The schedule consists of the experience exchange in the field of planning and conditions of combat transportation and operations, the preparation to the joint exercises “The Combined Effort-2006.”

During the briefings and meetings, the parties are to discuss the roles, structures and aims of the compound elements of the US Air Forces alignment located in Europe.

The visit will last till February 16.
