Ministry of building to control dwelling market


Ministry of architecture, building and housing and communal services offers to form a state list of investment agreements and to extend functions of the Ministry as regards control over house-building, as declared Pavlo Kachur, Minister of architecture, during today’s press conference.

In such a way the Ministry aims to prevent further existence of financial pyramids on dwelling market.

Kachur considers that the Ministry should issue an order for house-building. In this case the department will account and control dwelling market.

According to the Minister, lands should be sold by means of auctions, and this process should be open. Besides, investment in dwelling should start after a builder has received a license for building.

The Ministry plans to form a public experts’ council, which is to work out legislative initiatives for preventing machinations on dwelling market in the future.

Ministry intends to conduct a round table on the above mentioned issues February 17. Specialists in building sphere, representatives of ministries and interested parties will be invited to attend the round table.
