Sudan to purchase five AN-74 planes form Ukraine


Ukraine will sell five planes AN-74 of various modifications, Pavlo Naumenko, CEO of Kharkiv National Aviation Production Enterprise told.

Naumenko noted, the KSAPE's relevant contract with Sudan will start materializing in March 2006. The first plane will be shipped to Sudan within twelve months following the contract's prepayment, after which new planes will be shipped every two months. In preparing the contract the parties also discussed likely shipments of heavy transport planes of the AN-74 TK-200, AN-74 TK-300 planes, Ukrainian National Radio informed.
