Belarus may increase Ukrainian electric power import

Belarus may increase two times the import of Ukrainian electric power in comparison with the scheduled volume for 2006, Ukraine PM Yuri Yekhanurov told Friday in Belche-Volytske gas store, Lviv.

“I told with Belarusian Ambassador yesterday. They are satisfied with the current import and plan to increase it by two times in the next year,” said PM Yekhanurov.

As a reminder, Ukraine has launched the export of electric power to Belarus.
