Ukrainian national flag hoisted in Italian city of Turin

February 9, this ceremony proved the Ukrainian team's participation in the 20th Olympic game, Ukrainian National Radio informed.

The Ukrainian team, consisting of 53 athletes, is supposed to participate in 10 sports. “We expect from the Ukrainian team descent performance and hope for medals at least in 4 or 5 sports,” Ukraine Vice-Prime Minister Vyacheslav Kyrylenko said.

He noted that had flown to Turin in order to visit villages, where Ukrainian athletes are residing. "I rubbed shoulders with our athletes. “They all are in good mood and seeking success", Viacheslav Kyrylenko stressed.
