President hosts a reception for foreign diplomats

Today, February 9, Victor and Kateryna Yushchenko will host a reception for foreign diplomats working in Ukraine. This will be a traditional annual meeting to sum up results of the past year and outline tasks for 2006. It will take place in Mariinsky Palace, presidential press office informed.

The guests are encouraged to wear national costumes.

Last year, the Head of State received fifty ambassadors, thirteen envoys, fifteen presidents of international organizations, and eighteen consuls. Leaders of Ukraine’s parliamentary factions and cabinet members attended that reception.
