The meat crisis was caused by Ukraine’s machinations


Coming out in Zaporizhzhye, Victor Yanukovich told that he had discussed the ways of meat-and-milk problem settlement with Russian politicians.

According to his words, this issue was discussed with the leadership of the Common Russia Party. The problem were appeared when Ukraine had launched export of Australian buffalo meat claiming it as Ukrainian one. It shook Russia’s faith in Ukrainian veterinary services. Thereby, Russia started thoroughly examining the milk products form Ukraine.

The leader of the Party of Regions stressed that it negatively influenced the private commodity producers. They are incurring huge losses. “I am sure this issue will be considered by corresponding state agencies in Russia,” said Yanukovich.

He has charged the members of the Party of Regions parliamentary faction to promote the crisis settlement within the state structures of Ukraine and Russian Agrarian Ministry.
