Cabinet hides documents on gas agreement

The Verkhovna Rada’s Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn accuses Cabinet of Ministers of concealment of documents, signed between Ukrainian and Russian governments on gas issue, ForUm’s correspondent reported.

During today’s conciliatory council with leaders of deputy’s groups and parliamentarian factions Lytvyn reminded that on the instructions of the VR he had addressed Cabinet with inquiry to present all documents concerning gas agreement of January 4.

The Speaker noted that they had received “a document, that was published in Internet, and Cabinet’s decree concerning energy saving. All other papers were hidden from the Verkhovna Rada and, judging by the Internet publications, from the society as well.”

Lytvyn insists on the government presenting information and copies of gas agreement with Russia. “We need to know the whole picture of the undertaken actions,” noted the VR Chairman.
