Bird flu virus has not been confirmed in Alushta region


State veterinary laboratory of Crimea did not confirmed bird flu virus in dead wild ducks, found in Alushta region and Partenit village, Crimea.

As reported State veterinary department of Ukraine, examination revealed that birds died of exposure, Interfax-Ukraine reported.

Earlier, specialist of veterinary service found 211 dead wild ducks in Alushta region and 50 – in Partenit area. Vets supposed that birds died of cold weather, not typical for Crimea, but decided to send samples for examination.
