The Police Common Data Base to be created in Ukraine


The President of Ukraine signed the decree “On Common Data Base of Law Enforcement Agencies Fighting the Crime.”

The decree is aimed at the improvement of organization, coordination of investigations, raising the level of personnel skills.

The President charged the Cabinet with providing finance and stable function of the system.

The Cabinet must form the Interdepartmental Coordination Committee on Formation and Function of the Common System. It will consist of NSDCU, SBU (Security Service of Ukraine), the Interior Ministry of Ukraine, Administration of the Frontier Forces of Ukraine, State Tax Service, and Ukraine’s General Office of Public Prosecutor. The Committee must create and submit for consideration the program projects of formation and functioning of the Police Common Data Base.
