Ukraine intends to let ports


Ukraine creates program aimed at transferring of ports to the private owners, the transport Minister Victor Bondar told.

“We create three-four – year program concerning the privatization or leasing the ports,” said he adding that ports may be privatized, leased or just be taken under control.

“We need to work it out together with the parliament and legally approved. But the ports will be promoted by the private owners,” noted Bondar.

According to Bondar, the investment is supposed to be numbered by millions.
