Experts: Wild ducks died of avian flu


More than 300 dead birds have been found in Alushta city and Partenit, Crimea, 137 – in the city and 217 – in the village.

According to data of Alushta city state administration, urgent expertise, conducted in the city, confirmed bird flu virus. Results about Partenit are not known yet, LIGA informs.

Heads of sanatorium-and-spa institutions have been invited to the meeting of Headquarters on prevention of avian flu spreading. It has been decided to conduct frequent everyday inspection of beaches’ territory for the purpose of revealing dead birds, and to purchase means of individual protection.
