Russia imposes duty on Ukrainian metal production import

The duty is to be imposed till August 14, 2007.

 

As a reminder,a compensation duty was introduced in August 2002 for a term of three years to protect Russian producers. But the biggest Russian metalllurgical plants requested Russian government to extend the duty's effect, Ukrainian Radio reported.
