Russia and Ukraine to launch "meat" negotiations

Russia and Ukraine to launch "meat" negotiations

According to Rosselkhoznadzor, on December 24, the frontier guards found 420 kg of milk production in Bryansk-Orlovskiy check-point. It was carried by Kharkov-Bryansk train. There were not any accompanying forms. The cargo was transported in places which are difficult of veterinary access.

In January, 2006 another train carried 250 kg of cryptogenous poultry without accompanying forms. The poultry was transported under the seats, in water-closets and air ducts.

Moreover, 17 parcels of cheese (365 tones) were extorted at Novyye Yurkovichi-Pogar crossing. The control experts failed to find neither production date nor expiry date of the product. 38 tones of cheese were turned back t Ukraine because of incomplete maturation process. 80 tones of meat-meal were banned because of absence of Rosselkhoznadzor’s permission.

20 tones of dry milk were returned because of absence of origin marking atTroebortnoe check-point. The returned chicken did not satisfy with microbiological and physical-chemical standards although it was marked as delicatessen.

In January, Rosselkhoznadzor experts banned fodder import which was accompanied with copies of veterinary certificates. The same violations were committed by Hungarian and German producers.
