Ukrainian parliament again tries electing judges of the Constitutional Court

Today Verkhovna Rada is to vote for candidatures nominated to the Constitutional Court of Ukraine. It is the second item in the plenary agenda.

As a reminder, six Constitutional judges must be appointed by the President of Ukraine, six ones by the parliament and the rest six judges must be elected by the Judges’ Congress of Ukraine.

The members of the parliament are to terminate the deputy plenary powers of Vasyl Hladkykh who was appointed Ukrzalyznytsa (Ukrainian Railways) head. Another question of the agenda is the appointment members of the Supreme Council of Justice.
