Rybachuk visits Stockholm


In Stockholm, Secretariat Chief of Staff Oleh Rybachuk took part in a meeting of envoys of presidents and premiers of UN countries to reform the United Nations Organization. In his speech, he said Ukraine and President Victor Yushchenko actively supported all initiatives to reform the UN.

Rybachuk noted that “it is impossible to implement initiatives of the 2005 World Summit without involving leaders of all UN countries."

All participants of the meeting agreed to publish a joint articleto attract people’s attention to UN reforms, the President's press office told.

Rybachuk also took part in a lunch reception on behalf of Prime Minister Goran Persson of Sweden. There, he discussed a wide range of questions with envoys from Great Britain, Canada and other countries.
