BYT faction will not vote for draft budget-2006

Yulia Timoshenko Bloc faction of Verkhovna Rada will not vote for the draft budget-2006 because it must be thoroughly elaborated, the member of the faction Andrey Shkil reported.

According to Shkil, the budget proposed by the parliament is “very complicated” because of large deficit and problematic social component of it.

Shkil reckons that the deputies of Verkhovna Rada must discuss everything in details and elaborate it. The optimal budget must not be directly oriented for the coming elections-2006 but nevertheless it must scrape through “the parliamentary sieve.”
