Ukraine to pay for Turkmen gas by the end of 2005

At the meeting with Turkmen President Saparmurat Niyazov in Ashgabad, Ukraine’s PM Yuri Yekhanurov announced Ukraine would be able to pay for Turkmen gas by the end of the current year and be ready to pay by money.

Yekhanurov mentioned that Ukraine’s obligation to pay for gas supply by February 19, 2006 as it was stated in the bilateral documents.

As a reminder, Ukraine’s PM Yekhanurov is in Ashgabad with two-day working visit.
