Prime Minister of Ukraine spoke with EU Commissioner for External Trade


Prime Minister Yuri Yekhanurov spoke with EU Commissioner for External Trade Peter Mandelson via telephone on Wednesday, discussing the Ukrainian Government's priorities, among which there is Ukraine's accession to the World Trade Organization, conclusion of a free trade zone agreement with the EU and the latter's providing Ukraine with the market economy nation status.

Concerning the market economy status-related matter, as learned from sources in Brussels, Peter Mandelson told the Ukrainian Prime Minister about the EU Directorate's decision to recommend the European Commission and the Council of the European Union to recognize Ukraine as market economy nation.
