The State Social Insurance Fund of Ukraine to strengthen control

During the revision, the State Social Insurance Fund of Ukraine found that Ukraine lost 334.1 million UAH ($66.82 million) due to violation of law done by enterprises in the field of insurance of their workers. Valery Yarushenko, the director of State Center of Employment reported about it.

The following violations were found out in the field social security: overdraft of pension payment – 29.3 thousand UAH; overdraft of maintenance costs – 22.8 million UAH and the overdrafts of wages and different services.

The Fund made a resolution to send a request to Ministry of Labor and Social Policy of Ukraine in order to strengthen the control in the field of state of social insurance. The direction of the Fund was charged with the draft of changes in the acts of Ukraine concerning the issue by October 1, 2005.
