Victor Yushchenko has already spent five million hryvnias


Presidential expenses provided for in the budget makes seven million hryvnias ($1.4 million) per year. The president of Ukraine has already spent five million hryvnias ($1 million) during four months.

The head of State Business Department, Igor Tarasuk, explained that the over-expenditure was caused by "excessive activity" of Yushchenko, who often flies abroad.

It was decided to increase the sum of means for presidential expenses provided for in budget. Tarasuk also reported that "tender for aircrafts  will be hold in the near future and, most likely, an aircraft "Boeing" will be bought for international flights of the president".
