Kolesnikov will not be released

Yesterday Appeal court of Kiev examined the claim of the Boris Kolesnikov’s advocate against the decision of Pechersky court about Kolesnikov’s arrest.

The advocate Andrey Fedur asked the court to release his client from custody on bail. Fedur reported that the company "Kiev-Konty" is ready to transfer any some of money, which the court will fix.

Speaking before the judges, Fedur declared that Kolesnikov’s arrest was illegal and he must be released. According to the advocate, the investigator Rudenko, who interrogated Kolesnikov, let him go, and then Kolesnikov was detained outside the cabinet. Kolesnikov was put handcuffs on and delivered to Ministry of Internal Affairs, where they started to make protocol.

Reading out his appeal, the head of Donetsk region council confirmed the information said by his advocate. Kolesnikov paid judges’ attention to the fact that no telephone message was sent to him, as prosecution asserts. He came to General Prosecution after the investigator Rudenko called to regional council.

Kolesnikov also declared that investigation is not held; the investigator does not come to him and does not ask any questions. In his opinion, the aim of his arrest is "to scare him and keep in custody".

After consulting, Appeal court refused the claim to the advocate Andrey Fedur concerning illegal decision of Pechersky court, which examined "Kolesnikov’s case".

Hence, the decision of Pechersky court is in force, and Kolesnikov will be kept in custody.
