Kolesnikov can bring an action

During the arrest of the chairman of Donetsk region administration Boris Kolesnikov representatives of law machinery violated his rights. Representatives of Ukrainian Helsinki union of human rights declared about it.

According to the Constitution, arrest without court permission can be conducted only in the case of absolute necessity. There was not such necessity in case with Kolesnikov, "the 5th channel" informed.

The representative of Ukrainian Helsinki Union on human rights Evgen Zaharov said that "the very procedure of detaining and delivery to court were conducted with violation of the article 5 of European Convention on Human Rights". "And if Mr. Kolesnikov appeals against law machinery and actions of government on the whole, he has good chances to win", - he said.
