Senate of the USA sends "its people" to Ukraine

On March, 24 a delegation of the USA senate at the head of the senator Harry Reid, which is the leader of democratic minority in the senate of the USA, will visited Ukraine.

According to the deputy chief of MFA press-service Dmitry Svistkov, it is planned to discuss questions of Ukrainian-American collaboration, ways of strengthening of strategic partnership between Ukraine and the USA under new terms, "UNIAN" reports.

Svistkov marked also, that during meetings the Ukrainian side would accent attention on importance of providing more effective support from the side of congress for decision of actual for Ukraine questions of bilateral relations. In particular, the questions about more rapid abolition of action of Jackson - Vennik amendment in regard to Ukraine, about giving the status of a country with a market economy to Ukraine, about removal of existent trades barriers and also about effective assistance of the entry to World Trade Organization and support of Euro-Atlantic aspirations of Ukraine.

Besides, the sides intend to make an exchange of opinions concerning further collaboration in sphere of international safety guarantee, regional stability and fight against terrorism.
