Does Ukraine abandon EU?


For Ukraine it is not time to apply for the entry into European Union, the minister of foreign affairs of Ukraine Boris Tarasuk declared.

According to Tarasuk, he arrived at such conclusion after numerous consultations with representatives of Eurocommission and other European partners.

We remind that in January, 2005 the president Victor Yushchenko had declared that Ukraine intended to apply for the entry in EU in the near future. Yushchenko forecasted Ukraine’s entry in EU earlier 2016 year. Ukrainian authorities had declared before, that hoped to complete negotiations with European Union about concluding a deal according to which the status of the associated member of EU would be given to Ukraine to 2007 year.
