There will be no license plates on the quiet

Ministry of internal affairs of Ukraine intends to liquidate "protective" license plates. The minister of internal affairs of Ukraine Yurij Lucenko reported about it.

According to him, tens of thousand of "protective" plates were sold to private individuals by previous guidance of MIA, which created the original "caste of untouchable".

However, only some persons from Secretariat of the president and Verhovna Rada, and only 17 ministerial cars (according to the number of Cabinet of Ministers members) will be able to get the special license plates.

Thousands of the special license plates like "VR", "CM" and "AP", as well as police’s "MI", which were used by whoever, will disappear. Employees of MIA will change to the license plates of dark blue color, as it was before introduction of special plates.
