Melnichenko’s records can be destroyed

Widow of the journalist George Gongadze, Miroslava Gongadze being now in the USA considers it necessary Verhovna Rada of Ukraine to listen to the report of the head of parliamentary commission charged with "Gongadze case".

She said about it to the journalists by telephone on today's press-conference, ForUm’s correspondent reported.

According to her, Grigory Omelchenko must report to VRU exactly. Also Miroslava had revealed to the journalists, that to pass to Ukraine fragments of Melnichenko’s records which contained information about  Gongadze’s murder was rather risky, as they could be destroyed.

"I want these records to be considered in Court", - she said, adding, that for this purpose representatives of General Office of Public Prosecutor might arrive to the USA and conduct all necessary examinations.

Besides, Miroslava underlined that Melnichenko’s records were "the only proofs" which conduced to customers of the murder.
